Making Mornings Brighter with St. Ives Even & Bright Body Wash

Thanks to St. Ives for sponsoring this post!

Now that it’s November, days are not only getting chillier, but also darker! While I do enjoy cooler weather, having gloomy mornings makes it a little harder to be enthusiastic about starting the week on Monday morning.

The first thing I do in the morning: press SNOOZE. Who else starts their day off with a little procrastination? I always feel like I can trick my mind into thinking I’m getting more sleep by setting my alarm ten minutes early, and pressing snooze until I need to actually wake up. But in reality, I’m just as tired when the second alarm sounds.

To help make my week a little brighter, I’m going to try something new. Instead of pressing snooze and using the extra ten minutes to sleep, I’m going to do my best to get up and jump start my day. I can use the time to enjoy breakfast, try a new makeup look, or hop in the shower!

While I’m typically a night shower type of girl, morning showers help warm me up and wake me up. I love using body washes with exciting scents in the morning that energize me. My recent body wash BFF: the St. Ives Even & Bright Body Wash in Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange.

The Even & Bright Body Wash has a sweet, citrusy scent that’s so refreshing. The pink lemon and mandarin orange both provide vitamin C, which is known to even out skin tone and renew skin cells. It also contains natural exfoliants (ya’ll know how passionate I am about using natural exfoliants) to help polish the skin and diminish the dry patches that notoriously pop up during chilly weather. This body wash leaves my skin feeling smooth and leaves me ready for whatever the day brings.

I’ve got the other two products that make up the Even & Bright collection from St. Ives, and I’ll share reviews over the next couple weeks. I’ll also let you in on how I plan on making my week brighter, despite the weather!

How do you make your mornings brighter?
