New Spring Beauty: $15 and Under

New Spring Beauty: and Under | Slashed Beauty

What’s New this Spring?

I consider Pixi to be the authority in all things glow. Their new Glow Mist ($15) can be used before or after makeup to hydrate the skin, set your makeup, and add a dewy finish with natural oils. Pixi also just released LipLift Max ($14), which is a lip treatment that plumps, moisturizes, heals and soothes with a mint flavor and glossy finish.

I’ve talked about the Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos ($12) before, but they just released two new versions (4 shades total) that are perfect for Spring. You can now grab these affordable— yet luxurious— mini lipsticks in Tangerine/Lingonberry for bright and bold lips, or Fig/Date to get your neutral hue fix.

e.l.f. has been expanding their brush line this season with some awesome new additions. Joining their Studio line is their Ultimate Blending Brush ($6), which has fluffy and dense bristles that can be used to buff out powder, liquid or mousse foundation for a flawless finish. What I’m most excited for, though, is their new Contouring Brush ($6), which might be easier to maneuver if the Ultimate Kabuki Brush intimidated you. The thin, flat top can be used to chisel your cheekbones and contour the perimeter of the face.

Nonie Creme Colour Prevails is a new brand on the drugstore scene, but the expert behind the scenes (the former founding creative director of Butter London) is no stranger to high quality and beautiful shades. Watch out for their Eye Shimmer Powder ($10), which is a beautiful loose shadow with strong color and minimal fallout. The Paint & Varnish Matte Lip Colour & Topcoat ($12) and the Eye Design Shadow/Liner Duo ($12) are fun 2-in-1 products that can deliver different budge-proof looks depending on your mood!

I’m loving the new mark. Spring releases, including the Naked Love Body Butter ($12) which is an extremely rich moisturizer that has the most refreshing scent: fruity, floral, and musky all at once. It’s magical. On the makeup front, they’ve got two new liners: the No Place to Run Waterproof Eyeliner ($10) for those who prefer pencils, and the Saved by the Gel Waterproof Eyeliner ($11) which also comes with a full size, dual ended eyeliner brush.

Lastly, I’m super impressed with the latest Complete Coverage 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation ($4.99) launch from Jordana, which comes in a whopping twelve shades— pretty vast for an inexpensive drugstore brand. I like the squeeze tube packaging for easy access.

What other spring beauty releases are you excited about?
