This $6 Daily Lip Scrubber is a Game Changer for Exfoliation

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that winter left my lips in bad shape. Between chilly wind and the general dry climate, they’ve been chapped and even borderline flaky some days. I’ve tried to keep up with my general lip care routine, but it hasn’t been quite enough for the last couple weeks.

So when this $6 Daily Lip Scrubber from Daily Concepts landed across my desk, I gave it a shot immediately. And spoiler alert: this thing is exactly what I needed!

This small lip brush is made of silicone touch points, very similar to my favorite skin care device: the FOREO Luna. Used in conjunction with a lip scrub or oil treatment, it gently exfoliates, lifting dead skin and leaving behind smooth lips. With a pocket to slip your finger into, not only is it’s more effective way to exfoliate, but also more hygienic and mess-free.

Why do I think this inexpensive, seemingly simple tool is so genius? Even with my favorite scrub, sometimes I feel like my fingers are getting more of the benefits than my lips. With the Daily Lip Scrubber, I know my lips will get 100% of the moisture from the scrub formula. Plus, the bristles keep the scrub concentrated to one area instead of ending up all over my chin. (Does that happen to anyone else?)

The difference between using a lip scrub alone and together with the scrubber was night and day. Dry patches that had been bugging me for days were completely smoothed over. My lips felt soft and plump, too, since the scrubber also helps increase blood circulation. It’s gentle enough to exfoliate daily, and doesn’t cause any irritation or sensitivity for me.

It’s easy to clean, too. I just run mine under hot water while slightly bending the tip backwards to space out the bristles, and any leftover scrub gets rinsed away.

Inexpensive, effective, and easy to use. Doesn’t get better than that! You can find the Daily Concepts Daily Lip Scrubber at Ulta Beauty for $6.
