Crash My Stash: Drugstore Berry Lipsticks

Fall trends are already on the brain for us beauty mavens! One of my favorite parts about fall beauty is breaking out the deep lipsticks! While I sometimes like to spice things up with a super vampy lip, I normally stick to a berry shade for an every day fall look. I rummaged through my collection to find my favorite drugstore berry lipsticks you can pick up in anticipation for the coming season!

Crash My Stash: Drugstore Berry Lipsticks

1. Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain in Cranberry Crush
A beautiful pink toned berry shade, this stain works well across a multitude of skin tones. It applies with medium opacity that can be built up for a bolder pop of color. The stain left behind has a “just bitten” quality to it that I think is so flattering.

2. Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Rich Raisin
I really like this line of tinted lip balms for every day color. Rich Raisin leans red-mauve with translucent— but buildable— color pay off. Because it lets some of your natural lip color shine through, the shade might look different on you than it does on me! It has a slight fruity scent that I really like, as well.

3. Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie
An old favorite of mine, this shade leans pink and applies with very sheer coverage for the color-shy. It has a glossy finish with subtle pink shimmer. Because of it’s translucency, this is a great shade to pair with a heavier eye without going overboard. The Lip Butter lipsticks are so moisturizing and comfortable to wear; they’re some of my favorites in the drugstore.

4. NYC Expert Last Lipstick in Berry Me

While the lipsticks I’ve covered thus far are a bit more glossy, this one is for you heavy color lovers. Berry Me is a strong shade that has a creamy, full coverage consistency. It has a satin-matte finish that doesn’t dry out the lips during wear.

5. Wet n Wild Balm Stain in Lady in the Vamp
This is a good shade if you want to go a bit darker without going full-on vamp. This is sort of an oxblood lite, if you will. The warm shade leans purple, and leaves a stain behind for a subtle wash of color after the product has faded that can last hours. One thing to note, though, is that the stain left behind looks much lighter than when freshly applied.

6. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Berry Rose
This deep, cool toned pink has an almost metallic shine to it. It glides onto your lips with a balmy texture and full coverage. Because of its stand-out finish, it is sure to draw eyes, so I would keep the rest of the face on the subtle side when rocking this shade!

  1. I’m going to need to add the three I don’t have. I just found Jordana at a new store here, and one Target has NYC…and hopefully get the Rimmel at Fred Meyer. Great article.

  2. Lady and The Vamp is amazing- I actually purchased a backup tube right away because I thought the collection was limited edition, lol! But I know I will use them both right up because the stain is perfect for a long busy day at work when I’m not around a mirror and don’t have time to touch up.

    1. Agreed! Those stains rock for long days. I go to work during the day and school at night, without a lot of time (or energy) to touch up, so I love long lasting lippies!

  3. Those are such great shades and all perfect for fall. I totally want that Rimmel shade, it the only one I dont have of these. Great choices and beautiful selection!
