8 Budget-Friendly Eyeshadow Palettes for Fall
During summer, my daily makeup was pretty fresh-faced. Most days, I actually skipped eyeshadow, making my contour and lips the focus. But as fall hits, I’m dusting off my favorite eyeshadow palettes to create go-to fall eyeshadow looks with deep, warm colors and smokey tones.
Fall is my absolute favorite season of the year when it comes to makeup trends. Especially with all of the special occasions surrounding the last few months of the year, it makes for great excuses to get glammed up. Today I’m sharing eight of my favorite eyeshadow palettes for fall that will cover you for all the trends— from a neutral “barely there” look to pair with an oxblood lip, to a sultry smoky eye and all the warmness in-between.

1. Ulta Beauty Matte Neutrals Palette
I’ve loved this palette from the first time I used it earlier this year. Since reviewing it on my YouTube channel, it’s become one of my favorites. So much so, that I’m about 90% sure I’m wearing it to my wedding. The all-matte palette consists of a great range of neutrals, from delicate light shades to deep warm browns. It’s incredibly versatile with twelve pigmented shadows that blend effortlessly together.
2. City Color Cosmetics Boho Chic Palette
The Boho Chic palette is one of those palettes perfect for the transition from summer to fall. Get 10% off with code SlashedBeauty! I especially love using the deep wine shade, called “Marsala,” paired with the gold called “Energy” for your quintessential holiday makeup. Read the full review of the palette here.
3. NYX Cosmetics Ultimate Shadow Palette in Sugar High
One of the newest releases from the brand, the NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Sugar High consists of peaches and neutrals for a lighter approach to fall eyeshadow. There is a great balance of finishes separated by each row: mattes, satins and shimmers for any mood. The purple shades shade really pull this palette together to help it fit in to the fall season.
4. Makeup Revolution Iconic Smokey Palette
There was a lot of buzz around this palette when it first came out, because it looks like an exact dupe of the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette! As you can see above, where the unmarked swatches are the Makeup Revolution palette, it’s a pretty close match and at a fraction of the cost. The Iconic Smokey Palette gives you twelve moody shades to create smokey eyes to wear for any occasion. Read the full side-by-side comparison review here.
