Inside the Box:

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing Mascara | Slashed Beauty

Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing Mascara (Retail: $20)
This mascara boasts that it can increase your lashes by a whopping 600% with its special formula that includes volcanic soil. No clumps, dark hue, and a glossy finish? You gotta see it to believe it.

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - The Lip Bar Lipstick in Crimson Wonderland | Slashed Beauty

The Lip Bar Lipstick in Crimson Wonderland (Retail: $25)
I’m not sure there will be any lip shade more classic than a universal red. Crimson Wonderland is a cool, velvety red that will pull together countless holiday looks. The tube is fun to look at, with a see-through geometric pattern.

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - OCC Loose Colour Concentrate in Smote | Slashed Beauty

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Loose Colour Concentrates in Smote (Retail: $14)
While I’ve fallen head over heels for OCC’s lip tars, I’ve never tried any of their other cosmetics! This loose pigment is a cool bronze with a slight pink undertone and holographic shimmer. It comes with a sifter inside the pot for easier application. This shade will kick your neutral looks up a notch.

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - NCLA Nail Lacquer in Satin Sheets, Velvet Ropes | Slashed Beauty

NCLA Nail Lacquer in Satin Sheets, Velvet Ropes (Retail: $16)

This nail brand has taken the beauty world by storm, and for good reason. Their pigmented, smooth polishes apply beautifully, plus they’re cruelty free. Satin Sheets, Velvet Ropes is another timeless red shade that shimmers when it catches the light. It resembles Santa Claus’ suit… but more glam!

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind | Slashed Beauty

Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind (Retail: $20)

This neutral pink is great if you’re going for a more laid back winter look. The gloss hydrates the lips with vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba seed oil for a comfortable wear. It’s not too warm or cool, and will flatter a range of skin tones.

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - Teadora Lip Butter | Slashed Beauty

Teadora Nourishing Lip Butter in Rainforest at Dawn (Retail: $15)

If you read as many beauty blogs as I do, you are probably just as curious about this product as I am. This raved-about lip butter apparently does wonders for dry winter lips, and also doubles as a gentle lip scrub with small exfoliating particles. It’s infused with extracts of antioxidant-rich plants from the Amazon Rainforest, and is made with maracuja, acai oils, and mango butter. It has a subtle citrus scent and taste, and is all natural.

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - Cargo TexasLiner | Slashed Beauty

Cargo TexasLiner Liquid Eye Liner (Retail: $20)
This stout liner will help you achieve bold and dramatic looks, or you can just use the point for something more subtle. The chubby felt tip gives you lots of control as the formula goes on smoothly and precisely. This is a cat eye’s best friend!

Review: 2014 Holiday Glossybox - Calvin Klein Reveal | Slashed Beauty

Calvin Klein Reveal (Retail: $90)
This is the only sample sized item in the Holiday Glossybox, but is still extremely generous with half an ounce and a cute bottle! A warm oriental scent, this fragrance has a light woodsy attitude with a subtle sweetness about it. It’s just the right amount of musk that I like for my winter perfumes.

This is certainly the best limited edition box thus far. It’s hard to choose what products I’m most excited about trying!

The 2014 Holiday Glossybox is a $140 value, but is available to purchase on its own for just $40— that’s crazy savings, and cheaper than previous years! What’s more is that you can actually get this box free when you purchase a 12-month subscription to Glossybox before 12/15/14 with the code HOLIDAY. Any beauty junkie will be head over heels for this box; there’s something in it for everyone.

Order the 2014 Holiday Glossybox on their website before it’s gone!

What do you think is the highlight of this box?
