Kohl’s Haul: Back to School Shopping with Candies

Sponsored by Kohl’s. All opinions are my own.

Even though I’ve been out of school for a few years, it’s around this time of the season that I still do a wardrobe refresh— that back to school shopping mentality is still ingrained! I can’t resist the new styles and sales that lure me into the dressing room. Back when I was in school, I had a part-time job at Kohl’s and to this day, it’s still where I get a large portion of my wardrobe. One of my favorite brands there is Candies, which focuses on trends for girls and women from 13-24. I’ve been wearing the brand since high school, and they still have styles that fit my personality.

Kohl’s is currently running a Back to School offer that can be used on all Candie’s apparel: receive $10 off a $50 BTS purchase from August 2nd to August 18th! I wanted to pop in and see what was new, and picked up a few new favorites.

First of all, I want to remind you for any time you shop at Kohl’s: don’t forget your coupons. I have an account and get notified of available offers. Read the fine print because a lot of deals are stackable. I was notified that all tank tops and dresses were on sale during my visit, which could be combined with other offers. Even when Fall hits in Vegas, it’s definitely still sleeveless weather!

I fell in love with this Crossover Knit Dress as soon as I tried it on. It is so flattering and comfortable while being easy to dress up or down. Size Medium fits me like a glove and accentuates all my favorite curves. For now, I’ll wear it on its own, but as the weather starts to cool down I can definitely pair it with a jean jacket to make it more Fall-appropriate.

Speaking of jean jackets, I am living for this Printed Floral Crop Denim Jacket! Since it’s a pale pink, I have no problem pairing this with jeans without getting the Canadian Tuxedo vibe. It’s a bit oversized, and I comfortably fit into a size Small for a more fitted look when buttoned.

Underneath, I’m wearing this Sleeveless Mock Neck top, another tank that will be versatile throughout the season. I love the lightweight ribbed fabric, and the collar is surprisingly comfortable. This was on sale as well, score! The bottoms are the Ankle Sculpt Denim Jeans in the light wash. I’m usually a dark wash girl, but I love how the lighter shade pairs with the pinks! These are super skinny jeans with an elastic waistband— a curvy girl’s dream.

For more of a professional vibe, and for those of you who may be going back to college with work responsibilities as well, I’m absolutely obsessed with these Belted Cropped Wide Leg Pants. They’re chic and make me feel a little more dressed up without being stuffy or uncomfortable. I’m wearing them with this Roll-Tab Blouse which is a classic button-up style, but with a lot of personality thanks to the animal print.

If you’re doing any back to school shopping this year, or just looking to add some new styles to your closet, definitely don’t sleep on Kohls and their Candie’s sale! Check out their website to shop online.

Have you picked up any new clothes for Fall yet?

I absolutely adore the crossover knit dress on you! I haven’t bought for me lately other than a dress earlier this summer, but I often go to Kohl’s, both for me and the kids. Gotta love the coupons with discounts and the Kohl’s cash to make the budget stretch even further!

That striped dress is adorable on you. I like Kohl’s but I resent having to go out to PV to shop there. lol Candies. Now, there is a throwback to my teen years! I would hoard my babysitting money to buy a pair of shoes.

These look great on you. I was surprised how many codes I could stack when I recently ordered from Kohls. And I have some money now that I can use on my next order.

The stacking is the BEST. And yes! I earned $20 Kohl’s Cash on this haul that I used later for more jeans!
