Even though this post is sponsored, my love for these products are 100% real, yo.
It’s very rare that I find a luxury brand that I’m actually wowed by. Ya’ll know I’m a drugstore makeup girl at heart, and I probably always will because there are very few expensive brands that justify the cost with quality.
But, Eve by Eve’s is one of those brands. A relatively new luxury boutique lifestyle brand based out of my birth place of Beverly Hills, Eve by Eve’s carries apparel, accessories, home decor and beauty products. For such a broad range of products, it’s easy to be skeptical about the attention put into their beauty line. (P.S. Keep reading for a coupon code!)
That skepticism only lasts until your first application, though. The first product I tried was their Drama Luxe Lip Color in the shade Winter Iris. It applies like a dream, a literal dream. It’s so creamy and so pigmented, I’m not kidding when I say you can lightly swipe once and have full power color on your lips. This shade is gorgeous, too— a beautiful pink-toned plum that’s great for the transition from winter to spring. What actually surprised me though, and what said “yes, this is a $38 lipstick” was how long this baby lasted: hours on hours, through meals still looking fantastic even if a little bit faded. I see you, Eve by Eve’s. So I continued to test out some of their other products.
The Conditioning Lip Definer is just as impressive as the lipstick. For a lip liner, it’s pretty moisturizing (hence the name) and I often just shade in my entire lips and wear it on its own. The small, fine point makes lining precisely a breeze, and it has a lip brush on the other end to help blend out the color.
Another favorite of mine from their collection: the Conditioning Eyebrow Definer. I was intimidated when I first swatched it and the color was so intense, but this ended up working out in my favor. With a light hand, I could lightly fill in my brows and build up to a stronger color in patches with hair that was more sparse. I love that the tip is flat for easy defining and it has a spoolie on the other end for combing through the color.
The Conditioning Liquid Eyeliner had to grow on me. The formula reminded me a lot of Pixi’s Cat Eye Ink Liner, which caused a divide among any beauty lovers. While it is fairly wet, the shade is a deep jet black that sets matte. The long, pointed felt brush gives you control so you can get the perfect liner look every time. I find that it performs much better when applied over a powder eyeshadow, and lasts longer that way.
The Drama Luxe Gel Mascara was another one that I wasn’t so sure about. It’s one of those duo-end mascaras with one side being a white primer and one side the actual mascara. With most of these types of mascara, I don’t see the primer actually doing anything. Much to my surprise, I could visibly see the “Perfect Base” side thicken and define my lashes. What the what? The Conditioning Mascara applied over top perfectly, adding super length with its fiber formula. Oh yes, I like this. No gimmicks, just results.
It went from a brand I had never heard of to a brand I seriously respect: Eve by Eve’s knows how to do beauty. The gorgeous packaging isn’t the only thing you’re splurging for— the formulas and effects of the products are top notch.
Of course, I wouldn’t share unless there were ways to get Eve by Eve’s products without completely breaking the bank: sign up for their newsletter to save 20% on your first purchase… score! Also, as of today, you can get 30% off their mascara with the code LOVEMASCARA. See? I look out for ya’l!!
