6 Time Saving Beauty Products You Need Right Now
Let’s face it: we all lead busy lives, and for those of us who love indulging in beauty treatments and creative makeup routines, sometimes it’s hard to find time for it all. Whether you’re a student, a mom, or dedicated to your work— I know you’ll also appreciate these time saving beauty products that make my life a whole lot easier.
1. ULTA Professional Nail Dry
I never rush the process of painting my nails; it’s therapeutic for me and I do it to relax. Having to wait for the polish to dry, however, drives me up the wall. I’m the girl who spends a half hour on my nails only to ruin them within the next five minutes because I’m already onto the next task– what a waste! This nail spray makes your polish dry quickly, preventing smudging and frustration. Once my nails are tacky, I generously spray this on and am good to go.
2. Hot Tools Foam Rollers
No time to curl and coif your hair in the morning? No problem. Roll up your slightly damp hair in these classic foam rollers and keep them in overnight. In the morning, take them out and give your hair a shake. Just add some smoothing oil and you’ll have a bouncy style that looks polished. These are also helpful if you’re trying to stay away from heat styling.
3. Rimmel 9-in-1 BB Cream
When I wake up late but my skin still needs a bit of help, I opt for this bb cream or tinted moisturizer. It helps me multi-task by providing sun protection, minimizing pores, mattifying excess oil, and adding coverage to even out my skin tone and conceal blemishes. This will cut more than a few steps out of your normal makeup routine and doesn’t even require a brush for application.
4. Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo
I’m all for hygiene, but washing your hair takes time, especially if it is as thick as mine or long (I’ve had to turn down plans with friends because it was hair-washing night… don’t judge). It’s also known to be healthy for your hair to wash it only a few times a week. Use this dry shampoo, which doesn’t leave any annoying white residue, to absorb oil and add a refreshing scent when you need to skip an extra day before washing.
5. POND’S Wet Cleansing Towelettes with Vitamin E
Generally, it’s hard for me to trust wipes to get every last smudge of my makeup off, but these actually get the job done! Because the towelettes have a raised texture, they do well to grab and break down all of your face and eye makeup. The Vitamin E helps soothe the skin so that it doesn’t feel stripped. No more switching between products to remove waterproof eye makeup and face makeup.
6. The Wet Brush
How many times can I rave about the Wet Brush? Brushing my hair after a shower used to take almost as long as the shower itself. My thick, curly hair is no stranger to knots and clumps, and a regular paddle brush just can’t cut it. The Wet Brush glides through tangles like they’re nothing, cutting down on breakage, time, and tears.
Ponds is a must!
Yes to that Nail Dry!
The wet brush is amazing !
I´ve never heard of the wet brush, but it sounds like something I should try.
I have something similar to the wet brush by Coolway and love it. It really helps when I want to brush my hair wet which I rarely do.
The wet brush sounds great!
I have that wet brush and I like it too!
I’ve tried the foam rollers many times and NO it does not work for me. My hair is too fine I think, it just tangles and becomes a massive knotty lump.
Yes your hair would probably do better with rollers that have combs!
I use my wet brush every single day. I also have that nail spray and forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me I need to dig that up!
The wet brush is one of my all time favorites.
I adore my wet brush, use it everyday!
I have heard so many good things about sponge rollers. Need to try this one day.
I feel like I might be in the minority here, but I HATE the smell of that Herbal Essences dry shampoo. Dry shampoo in general is a must-have for my time-saver list though.
Sponge rollers!!! I have a photo somewhere of me wearing this and I am three years old!!! Now that I’m grown up, I just call myself the makeup wipe queen! LOL!
I’ve been trying to find the Rimmel BB Cream in Matte forever, but they don’t seem to sell it around here in any of the stores I’ve looked in. I’ll just have to keep hunting… I’ll have to pick up the nail dry, because I am the worst at spending a ton of time painting my nails and then smudging them because they weren’t dry when I was ready to move onto the next thing. I love dark colors, but they are sooo slow at drying!
Try looking for the Rimmel BB Cream at Ulta or Target– that’s where I get mine! Or if you click the link above, you can also buy it online. It’s my favorite because it has all the benefits of a BB cream without being too dewy! And yes the nail dry is a must-have for multi-taskers like us 😛
The Wet Brush saves me from hours of screaming. I won’t use anything else on my daughter.
I love the Wet Brush! My daughter doesn’t fight me as much when I brush her hair with that. So much less drama!
I know what you mean, on the day I wash my hair, I also want to do hair and face masques, and nail treatments, and generally pamper myself. I’m not disrupting that to put on a bra and go out! Lol
Here here!!
That Herbal Essences Naked dry shampoo is so good. Love that stuff. I need to do a BBF on that! Anywhoozle… Girl have you tried Caruso rollers? They curl with steam. Give fab curl, are super gentle and, once you get the hang of them, fast. No heat (the steam is conditioning, not damaging) and no sleeping on rollers. They are great for long, thick hair.
No, I haven’t even heard of Caruso rollers but that sounds really cool! Sleeping on rollers *can* get uncomfortable. I’ll have to look into them. Thanks for the suggestion!
I need to try the Wet Brush already! lol
