I’m particularly into all of the new face brushes that just launched. I’ve been putting more effort into my face makeup lately, leaving the rest of my features relatively neutral for a no-makeup makeup look, so these are perfect for my new routine.

For foundation, there are the new Selfie Ready Powder Blurring Brush (left) and the Selfie Ready Foundation Blurring Brush (right). The Selfie Ready Foundation Blurring Brush has a tapered domed shape of dense bristles that are incredibly soft and work for cream, liquid or powder products. It spreads and buffs in product seamlessly for a beautifully blended look.

The Selfie Ready Powder Blurring Brush is perfect for loose or pressed powders. It has a more splayed, flat shape which makes it versatile enough to use with all over face powders, blushes, bronzers or highlighters.

For setting powder, I’ve been favoring the new Flawless Face Brush. It has long, flexible, soft bristles in a large domed shape that dust powder on evenly. I like the bigger brush head to cover more surface area at one time.

I’m probably most in love with the Sculpting Face Brush. It’s a blunt, hand-cut angled brush that is awesome for contouring. You can use it with both creams and powders, and it really gets right under the cheekbones for strong definition.

If you’re looking to really bulk up your collection though, you need to go for their new 11 Piece Holiday Brush Collection, which has brushes to get you through your entire routine. It comes with an eyeshadow “C” brush, complexion brush, small angled brush, blending brush, fan brush, powder brush, small precision brush, crease brush, flawless concealer brush, blush brush and eyebrow duo brush (spoolie on one end, angled brush on the other). Like I said, literally everything you need to jumpstart a brush collection. They all have really elegant silver handles and come in a silver zip up clutch to make them easy for travel. If not for yourself, you’ve got to snatch this up as a gift for a friend at the very least.

I, for one, am super glad that e.l.f. is not only releasing brush after brush to expand their already vast line, but are also keeping in mind what makes a great brush. Check these out and the rest of their awesome brushes on their website. Hopefully they make their way in stores quickly!

  1. I think I’m going to pick up the foundation blurring brush and maybe the powder one too, plus the sculpting face brush for a new contouring brush. that style of foundation brush is my absolute favorite for liquid foundation, and I wear powder foundation occasionally and I’ve found that style is great for applying that as well. Thanks for the review! Happy Holidays to you and yours Miranda!!

    1. They’re my fave for liquids too, I love how they really blend the product in. Happy Holidays to you, too Jamie Lynn!!

      1. I actually like the Sculpting Brush a little better for the light contouring that I do, but they’re both fantastic brushes.
