I’m probably not the only one who tries to be frugal when it comes to my beauty routine during the year, but uses the holidays to explore high end products. $40 for a foundation is much more justifiable when you’re not the one putting down the cash, am I right? If you want to use the gifting season as a reason to explore higher-end makeup, make sure a few of these high end beauty gifts are on your wish list.

1. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation ($43)

Hands down my favorite high-end foundation, the Ultra HD foundation works across all skin types with 40 different shade options to choose from. It’s one of those set-it-and-forget it products with full coverage that can seriously power through a long day, looking just as great at night as it did when I first applied it in the morning. I trusted this foundation when I did a friend’s makeup for her wedding, and she looked phenomenal despite having oily skin and the 90+ degree weather.

2. Jessica Simpson Signature Fragrance 10th Anniversary Edition ($67)

I always consider splurging on fragrances a practical investment, since they can last you years. I’ve been a long time fan of Jessica Simpson’s Signature perfume, and this new rendition is even more indulgent. Mixing citruses, florals, vanilla and sandalwood, it’s a balanced feminine scent that’s warm enough for winter but light enough for spring. It’s a great year-round fragrance, and comes in a beautiful new bottle to celebrate the 10th anniversary! With a gorgeous white feather cap and clear bottle, it’s elegant enough to proudly display on the vanity.

The LAQA & Co Cheeky Lip Pencils are lightweight matte lip and cheek stains that add long-lasting color to your look. Bring it with you on the go to The Lip Lube is perfect for when you want something a little more balmy, as it gives a translucent, glossy color that’s infused with mint to naturally plump your lips. You can keep it sheer or build it up for a stronger shade. Plus, the packaging features artwork by young artists who get a portion of the profit when each product is sold, neat!

4. Way Too Tan Self Tanner ($89.98, or $8.50 for one-use packets)

Now that the sun is hibernating for the next few months, some of us need a little extra help to keep our bronzey glows. The Way Too Tan sunless self tanner contains premium silicone for a rich skin feel, and natural tanning enhancers for a fast and deep dark tan. It’s made with anti-aging organic antioxidants like grape seed extract that help protect your skin and maintaining its elasticity. It’s also incredibly moisturizing and helps diminish the appearance of wrinkles. On top of all that, it will leave you with a beautiful glow without having to even step outside. Talk about multi-tasking!

  1. I’ve never used high end beauty products and now i’m reminded why lol but I have an aunt that has to have the best, so I know these are great products! But she always gets the Chanel No.5 perfume and now I always associate that fragrance with home so it’s my favorite

    1. I know that feeling all too well, associating a smell or perfume to a memory 🙂 Chanel’s not a bad one either!

  2. Foundation that stays on oily skin in 90 degree weather? Sounds perfect for me! I need to try this magic elixir!

  3. Those lip pencils would be a great gift. Very pretty and perfect for a lip product junkie. Have a very happy Thanksgiving, Miranda.
