e.l.f. Day to Night Lipstick Duos Review
I am totally obsessed with double ended lipsticks. They’re so freaking convenient for on-the-go, and are often inexpensive ways to get more variety in your collection. So when e.l.f. announced their Day to Night Lipstick Duos, I flipped a freaking lid!
They immediately reminded me of the Bite Beauty Lipstick Duos that have been my go-tos for the past couple years now. I was hoping the new e.l.f. duos would be somewhat comparable, and was on a mission to get my hands on all four!
The e.l.f. Day to Night Lipstick Duos offer two shades each that are complimentary and supposed to take your look from day to night by just switching your lip color. While I don’t personally change my lipstick shade during the day, I still think these are incredibly handy additions to any makeup lover’s lipstick stash. Whether it be consolidating products for travel, or just bulking up the amount of shades you own, they’re great two-in-ones. There are only four duos in the collection so far, but I am already desperate for them to make more.
Need it Nudes
This duo has two really flattering nude shades. A light pinky-beige for daytime, and a warm peach for night.
The Best Berries
This is probably my very favorite of the four duos. For daytime, a beautiful blush pink, and for night a punch pink. I wouldn’t really classify either color of the “berry” variety, but they’re gorgeous nonetheless.
I Love Pinks
This one’s from going to the office to the club! On the day side, we’ve got a rich rose shade. For night, an electric hot pink.
Red Hot Reds
Nothing’s more classic than a red lip. This duo has a bright– yet wearable– apple red for daytime, and a crimson red for night.
Besides the fact that these are two-in-one lipsticks, these immediately became my new favorites— yes, more so than the Bite duos— for a couple of reasons. First of all, this has to be e.l.f.’s creamiest, most pigmented lipstick formula. I was expecting their normal Studio Moisturizing Lipstick formula, which is great as it is, but these new lipsticks take it to another level. Most of the swatches above are just a light swipe of the tube, and that color payoff is insane! Second of all, these are so incredibly moisturizing, and glide on to the lips effortlessly.
And of course, the price can’t be beat. For $6, you’re getting the same amount of product and, to be quite honest, the same quality of product as the Bite duos at half the cost. Infinite kudos to e.l.f… I’m obsessed with these!

I got the I Love Pinks one. I really like and plan on getting the rest. I was surprised they were mini sized, but there’s still plenty of product.

Think these are such a great idea, specially for traveling because you get 2 shades in one tube. They are all flattering shades, it was great post !!
