Anyone else starting to rotate out their summery brights for earthy and dramatic fall lipstick shades? I’ve had several in rotation already as I start transitioning to more fall makeup looks. I’ve got some go-to nudes that can match any look but particularly work well with heavier smoky eyes I wear this season, plus some bold statement shades.

1. Physicians Formula Organic Wear Tinted Lip Treatment in Berry Me
Tinted lip balms are super low maintenance, nourishing while still adding a pop of color to finish natural looks. I’ve been loving the new Organic Wear Tinted Lip Treatments, which offer a pretty wash of moisturizing color. Berry Me is a very wearable light berry color.
2. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine in Almond Nude
These lipglosses are a favorite of mine, check out more shades swatched here. The hyaluronic acid formula is super conditioning and make these colors very comfortable for dry lips. Almond Nude is pretty sheer, but adds a slignt tint of beige.
3. Physicians Formula The Healthy Lip in All-Natural Nude
If you want a matte light neutral that will last comfortably all day, this is the one! I rated the Physicians Formula Healthy Lip liquid lipsticks as my top drugstore favorite in this video, and the sentiment hasn’t changed. All-Natural Nude is a pale peachy beige that will be a good math for when your eyes are the statement of your fall look.
4. NYX Lingerie Push-Up Lipstick in Seduction
This is such a great middle of the road fall shade! Seduction is a burnt orange brown that’s very wearable. While you get close to a flat matte finish, the lipstick formula never feels dry and also gives you a soothing cool effect as you apply it.
5. L’Oreal Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick in I Stand
Fall is a great time to break out those 90s brown shades. I Stand is a cool brown that is giving me so many old school J. Lo vibes! This particular lipstick is quite interesting too. A full review is coming soon… but the formula feels thin like a stain while it packs a ton of full coverage color.
6. Maybelline Super Stay Ink Crayon in Own Your Empire
You can check out all the shades from this collection in my post here, but this one stand above the rest. Own Your Empire is a gorgeous matte red— a staple in any makeup routine! You get an opaque, solid red in one swipe that will turn heads.
7. Honest Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Fearless
A newer addition to my collection, the Honest Beauty liquid lipsticks have been growing on me. Check out a few more shades in this post, but Fearless is the perfect deep berry lipstick for fall. This has a nourishing formula with clean ingredients to help moisturize as you wear. It’s not super long lasting though, so be sure to pack it along with you if you’re on the go
8. Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in Believer
Finally, a deep and dramatic fall shade! This time of year is perfect to experiment with the grungy side of beauty, including purple, oxblood, and black. Believer is a plummy purple that will stand out. When you’re wearing such a dark color, you need it to last— the Super Stay Matte Ink formula is one of the longest lasting I’ve worn.
