Meet Hair Food: A Delicious Hair Care Line
This post was sponsored by Target, but all opinions are my own— my hair loves this stuff!
I’ve been on a renewed health kick lately, trying to be more mindful of my food and clean up my routine. I’ve been swapping heavy junk food for fruit and other healthy snacks, and I’ve been feeling great. Even better, I recently discovered a hair care brand that lets me take that mentality and apply it to my beauty routine as well!
Hair Food is a hair care line I stumbled upon at Target that looked too delicious to pass up. The shampoos are both free of silicones, parabens, and mineral oil, so you get none of the junk and all of the goodness. There are several different collections I’ve seen so far, so whatever your hair type, there’s a product you’ll probably love.
Better yet, keep reading to find out how to pick them up yourself for almost half off!
I added three Hair Food products that I’ve been rotating in my shower routine, and I’m loving all of them.
The Hair Food Root Cleansing Shampoo is infused with Strawberry Ginger Fragrance for a super energizing scent. This shampoo is perfect for my Sunday night hair wash, as it gets rid of all product buildup and residue to start the week fresh. It makes my hair feel incredibly light and soft, ready for any style I throw at it.
The other shampoo I’ve been alternating in my routine is the Hair Food Volume Shampoo. This one is inspired by Kiwi—another one of my favorite superfoods—and exotic fig. This is my shampoo of choice when I know I’m going to be leaving my hair in its natural state, because it gives my waves full volume to make them look effortlessly styled.
Y’all know these crazy waves of mine crave moisture like crazy. The Hair Food Cleansing Conditioner has been awesome for my hair, since it offers lightweight hydration. One of my favorite fragrances, this one has a sweet smell of honey and apricot. The recipe for this formula leaves my hair smooth, frizz free and moisturized.
Aside from introducing you to this mouthwatering hair care line, the reason I’m sharing is because Hair Food is about to have the most insane coupon on the Target Cartwheel App this week!
I use the Cartwheel app every time I shop at Target for about 5-20% off some of my favorite brands, which you can clip digitally and scan at the register. But this week, you can get a whopping 40% off Hair Food products through the app! That’s INSANE! Click here to download the app and clip the coupon to your account. Who knows when a deal like this will happen again!?
I cannot live without the root cleansing version! I love the smell and how clean it gets my pretty oily/flaky scalp. I need to try the volume one!
These look like a dream. I’m right there with you on cleaning up what products I use. I want something that works effectively and is good for my overall health. These fit the bill.
I need to grab these!
I have some of these products! <3
I was just at Target last night, and I love the Cartwheel app. Always saves me some $$! This Hair Food line sounds like it smells and works well, too!

That is a REALLY good deal! I’m checking it out ASAP!
These aren’t for me but they sound terrific. I wonder why Clairol isn’t advertising their name with this new line.
I have the root cleansing shampoo in my closet. Maybe I should finally open it and check it out.
Holy cow these products sound awesome. I keep seeing them at my Target and have been waiting for someone I trust to talk about them. Totally about to grab a few. Great post!!

I have to look for these products the next time I’m in Target. They sound amazing! Especially since my hair seems to be very particular with what products I use.
