I completely identify the holidays with the smell of sweet foods and baked goods. Maybe that’s why I always end up gaining weight during winter… but I digress. One way to indulge in sweets without the calories is with the Vitabath Spice is Nice Body Wash & Lotion set, back for a limited time during the holidays. The set includes full size bottles of body wash and lotion, housed in a holiday carrier case (but don’t try to hang this on your tree, they’re heavy!).
Vitabath is notorious for their nourishing body washes, free from sulfates and parabens. Each one I have tried has a luscious lather and effectively moisturizes the skin, leaving it extra soft. The Spice is Nice body wash is no exception, containing vitamins A, B3, B5, C, E & goji berry extract, all which help soothe, protect and repair the skin. You’re never left with tight skin after using Vitabath body washes, which is incredibly important to me— especially during winter.
The hydrating lotion has a lightly whipped texture that is rich but not heavy. It sinks into your skin quickly to make it feel instantly softer with no residue left behind. The moisturizing effect lasts for a long time, but I simply find myself reapplying morning and night merely for the scent.
Oh my word, the scent of these two. It’s so decadent and wonderful. Vitabath describes it as a blend of pumpkin, allspice, cream cheese icing, rum, and maple syrup. To me, it resembles the Philosophy Cinnamon Buns shower gel. Either way, the warm, spicy and oh-so-sweet fragrance will fill you with holiday cheer… and, let’s face it, probably spark your sweet tooth. The fragrance bomb that happens in the shower while using Spice is Nice gives me the feeling of biting into a warm, freshly iced cupcake in a bakery. With that said, the scent is surprisingly not overpowering at all, and hardly lingers on the skin. Right out of the shower, you can only really smell the fragrance on you if you press your nose right up to your skin. The lotion will help bring it back out, but again it won’t be heavy or sickly.
You can grab the Vitabath Spice is Nice set on their website, where it is on sale for $16.95 (regularly a $21 value!). Whether you gift it or keep it as a treat for yourself, this yummy duo will put a smile on the face of whoever uses it. It is hands down my favorite winter scent!
