Get the Look: Fashion Week Fresh Face & Bright Eyes

The fresh-faced beauty trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, my friends. We saw it all over the runway during New York Fashion Week, and now London Fashion Week, accompanied by prominent brows and metallic accents. The great thing about this look is that it isn’t difficult for the everyday woman to recreate… and with affordable products! Maybelline and makeup artist Lottie were the team behind the Mara Hoffman Fall/Winter 2015 collection show, which had one of my favorite looks of the season. Read on to discover exactly what they did to achieve the fashion week fresh face and bright eyes.

To mimic the look, start out with FIT me! Dewy + Smooth Foundation (the new name for their original formula) and dot Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer under the eyes to even out and brighten the skin. To add more glow, grab the infamous Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadows in Bold Gold and Barely Branded to use as face highlights above the cheekbones, on the bridge of the nose, and the cupids bow for a dewy, baby skin finish. Adding some color to the face, use a combination of the Face Studio Master Glaze blushes in Warm Nude and Plums Up for a naturally flushed look.

Start out the eyes by creating a smoky base with the Master Kajal liner in Charcoal Skies, blending it all over the lid, underneath the lower lash line, and in the water line. Then, pick back up Bold Gold and apply to the inner half of the lid, with Barely Branded on the outer half, emulating a sunset.

Apply and blend a little more of the charcoal liner back into your crease to deepen it up. Lottie topped off the top and bottom lashes with the new Colossal Chaotic Mascara (coming in June).

Finally, use the Eye Studio Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara to get the coveted full, natural looking brows. Add moisture and a little sheen to the lips with Baby Lips Lip Balm in Quenched.
