I was like a kid waiting for Santa Claus while this package was in transit. I finally got the chance to pick out some e.l.f. products I’ve had my eye on for a while. Big thanks to Tina for this gift package!
My e.l.f. haul included:
- Studio Blush in Berry Merry
- Dual Pencil Sharpener
- Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara
- Studio Single Eyeshadow in Amethyst
- Studio Cream Eyeliner in Midnight
- Lip Exfoliator
- Studio HD Blush in Headliner
- Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems
Here are some up close and personal pictures of a few of the items so you can get a better idea of them. Watch the video for the entire haul!
Blush in Berry Merry
Single Eyeshadow in Amethyst without primer (top) and with primer (bottom)
Experience so far: The primer didn’t do too much to help the pigmentation of this shadow. It does make it a bit easier to build up, but I was really hoping for rich, dramatic color with this one! I’ll have to play around with it.
Cream Eyeliner in Midnight
HD Blush in Headliner
Experience so far: The pump is still really finicky. Not sure if I got a defective bottle or if they’re all like that. The product comes out once every ten squirts maybe? Because of this, it’s pretty hard to control how much product you’re dispensing. Even a pea sized amount is too much for this blush because it’s SO pigmented. A pinhead size amount will do it! The above swatch is a little more than I would normally apply and I’ve blended it out as best I could.
Experience so far: It took a while to get down to the exfoliating part of the scrub in the stick, because its outer most layer is just the balm part. It feels a little bit scratchy (not in a pleasant way) to me right now but I’m hoping as I keep putting a dent in the product, the feeling will improve.
Can you believe I got all this stuff for $20? Ah, I love a good e.l.f. haul. Have you tried any of these products? Please share your experience with me in the comments!
