10 Beauty Products I Keep in My Purse

I’m really not one to carry a lot of makeup around with me. I usually wear products that will last me during the day, and I’m also afraid of losing makeup that I like. However, there are a few select beauty products that I always have on hand, and that I always seem to need.

10 Beauty Products I Keep in My Purse
    1. e.l.f. Studio Transluscent Mattifying Powder
I love this handy compact, which includes a generously sized mirror. The powder itself is lightweight and effective at mattifying any oily spots on the face that may pop up throughout the day. For my combo skin, this is a must-have for every day touch ups!

    2. Real Techniques Retractable Lip Brush
This is a travel-friendly lip brush that is not only retractable, but also dawns a secure top so that you can throw it in your bag confidently. I use it for on-the-go applications of the lip product I’m sporting that day.

    3. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen
Whichever lip product I’m wearing on a given day is what I carry with me in my purse. Lately, I’ve been in love with the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. They’re comfortable and the the colors are long-lasting. This shade is a vampy, deep wine— totally irresistible for fall.

    4. Crazy Rumors Lip Balm in Sweet Thai Tea
This has been my go-to lip balm for the past few months! Made with all natural oils, butters and waxes, these vegan lip balms are super moisturizing and create what feels like a barrier between your lips and the outside elements.

    5. Banana Boat Sport Performance Sunscreen SPF 30
I’m pretty diligent about packing on the SPF when it comes to my face. My body… not so much. I like keeping a little tube of sunscreen in my purse for when I forget to apply protection to the skin exposed to the sun.

    6. Essence All About Matt! Oil Control Paper

On no-makeup days, sometimes I don’t want to use powder for helping keep oil at bay. That’s where these oil absorbing papers come in handy. They allow me to control oil without applying extra product.

    7. Travalo
This atomizer lets you carry your favorite fragrance with you in a purse friendly, leak-proof tube. You fill it up straight from the bottle of your perfume of choice, and it’s good to go for mid-day refreshers.

    8. Curel Hand & Cuticle Therapy Cream
This hand cream feels lightweight but is extremely effective in restoring dry, chapped hands and cuticles. I apply this pretty compulsively throughout the day because I cannot stand the feeling of dry skin!

    9. Unmarx

This handy tool will brush off any unexpected marks that show up on clothes— deodorant, makeup powder, dry food, or lint! It’s made of a chemical-free mesh that will help scrub unwanted dry residue marks off of clothing without water. I’m pretty clumsy, and this has saved me from looking like a mess on multiple occasions.

    10. Kleenex Tissues

Tissues are a purse staple in my book— you’ll never know when random eye watering will threaten the hard work you put into your eye makeup (what, is that only me?) Tissues also help with makeup touchups if some unfortunate smudging occurs, or when I want to blot my lipstick.

    1. I love my Travalos! I have at least 6 of them and they are so much better than buying the rollerballs which I find are never the same as the actual fragrance spray. And NYX Copenhagen is a fave go to shade of mine lately!

    2. After living in Florida for almost 5 years, I’ve so trained myself to not carry any makeup permanently in my bag. I’ve ruined too many lippies that way. But, I have, gradually, started to keep a hand cream in my car.
