Bright Cut Crease Makeup using Take Me Back to Brazil Palette
I’ve really been trying to challenge myself to create bolder and brighter looks lately. It can be so easy to fall into the same rotation of neutrals for everyday looks. It keeps my juices flowing to crack open a rainbow palette and think up new color combinations.
You could say the BH Cosmetics Take Me Back to Brazil Palette definitely inspires me when it comes to playing around with color. The colorful palette covers every spectrum of the rainbow with the perfect balance of shimmers, mattes, and color tones. It’s full of life, just like Carnival in Rio— what the palette was inspired by.
The shades are great quality with buildable pigmentation, and they blend together easily. Blendability is super important when it comes to colorful makeup looks, especially if you’ll be using multiple color families. This palette is straightforward, easy to work with, and gives you everything you need for endless looks.
The pinks and yellows were really speaking to me recently. After a quick taste of summer weather, Vegas reeled it back in and gave us cloudy skies! No fair! I wanted to brighten up my day with some lively shades… maybe even a pop of glitter!
BH Cosmetics just launched the Take Me Back to Brazil Glitter Set, which includes 4 limited edition glitter shades. I used Lemon to really amp up this yellow halo eye cut crease.

What I used to finish the look:
- AOA Studio Perfect Eyeshadow Primer
- BH Cosmetics Take Me Back to Brazil Palette
- BH Cosmetics Take Me Back to Brazil Glitter in Lemon
- Neutrogena Intense Gel Eyeliner
- NYX Matte Liquid Liner
- AOA Fat Lash Mascara
- Duo Brush-On Lash Glue
- e.l.f. Winged & Bold Luxe Lash Kit
- Physicians Formula Butter Lip Cream in Guava Mama
Am I the only one who can get an instant mood boost from playful makeup? I love how this look came out— it’s exactly how I pictured it in my head. Yellow eyeshadow looks have been elusive for me in the past, but the quality of this shadow plus the contrast with the pink makes for a great pop!
Which colors should I used for a bright makeup look next?
