Stripes Fashion Trend: 9 Picks from TJ Maxx
There’s no denying it: stripes are it this season. Browsing the new releases page on all my favorite fashion sites is proof enough— stripes are everywhere! I’m not mad about it though, I love striped patterns. They can really make a simple design look so much more interesting by accentuating the silhouette or adding pops of color.
One retailer killin’ the stripes game right now is TJ Maxx. Did you know that you could shop the store online now? I am definitely a self-proclaimed Maxxinista, but sometimes shopping in-store can be overwhelming with all the various styles on the racks. Most days, I’d much prefer shopping online and being able to filter results to exactly what I’m looking for! Recently, I was looking at their newest arrivals and found some awesome striped styles for spring. Check ‘em out below!

1. Sky and Sand Juniors Stripe Cropped Top ($14.99)
Loving this crop top with the wide sleeves. It creates a really fun shape, and would look great paired with a high-waisted skirt or jeans.
2. Kim & Cami Multi Stripe Wrap Top ($19.99)
The stripes on this wrap top are vibrant and make a statement for spring. This one can definitely be dressed up or down, and the deep v-neck leaves a lot of room for accessorizing.
3. Monteau Ruffle Sleeve Striped Top ($12.99)
The diagonal stripes on this top help cinch the waist, despite it being a relaxed fit. The ruffle sleeves are super flattering, and there’s a tie detail in front for a cropped look.
4. Zac & Rachel Striped Millennium Shorts ($14.99)
The scalloped hem on these shorts sold me! These would look so cute with a white tank and wedge heels, don’t you think? A nice alternative to denim shorts when the weather is heating up.
5. Indigo Rein Juniors Striped Linen Blend Shorts ($12.99)
Here’s another great casual short option! The linen keeps cool during hot weather and the belt tie lets you customize the fit. Pair this with a plain top to let it be the highlight of the outfit.
6. Moon River Striped Button Front Tie Mini Dress ($39.99)
This screams resort-wear to me, and I’m loving it. Perfect for a beach day or a spring brunch when the sun’s out!
7. Monteau Striped Wide Long Jumpsuit ($19.99)
I really wanna jump on the jumpsuit trend this spring! I love the way the stripes change directions on this one, and the pastel colors are so pretty. Both the neckline and back feature deep Vs, and the belt is placed high on the waist. I have a feeling this would make anyone wearing it look leggy and tall!
8. Sharagano Linen Blend Belmar Stripe Dress ($29.99)
This is such a pretty spring dress that’s super versatile. The pastel blue would be easy to match with outerwear like a denim jacket, and the way the stripes accentuate the draped skirt.
9. Max Studio Paper Bag Waist Striped Linen Blend Pants ($19.99)
These pants look so comfy, and can really elevate a simple look. Just pair it with a plain white tee and it looks like you tried! I really like the look of the high waist and the wide leg together— I think it makes the waist look smaller.
