10 Amazon Beauty Best Sellers Totally Worth the Hype ($40 & Under)
These days, you can find all of your beauty staples on Amazon… and it’s just as easy to discover new favorites. I am constantly drawn to the items labelled “Best Seller” and “Amazon’s Choice”… but are the products actually that good?
Every so often, I check the Best Sellers page to see what’s trending, and my own favorites make the list often! I’ve handpicked 10 Amazon beauty best sellers that I’ve personally tested, and agree that they’re worth the hype. They live up to their claims, making them worth every penny!
1. Kiss Impress Press-On Manicure ($8.99)
#1 Best Seller in Press On False Nails
These are the best budget-friendly press-on nails, hands down (see what I did there?). Any time I wear Impress products, I get inquiries about where I get my nails done. The longest I’ve been able to keep them on is 5-6 days, and they’re typically a go-to for special events and weekends. With the fun gem designs and nail art styles, it’s easier than ever to rock the newest nail trends.
2. La Roche Posay Toleraine Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser ($14.99)
Amazon’s Choice for Gentle Face Cleanser
Having combo and acne-prone skin, I’m super picky about anything I introduce into my skin care routine. La Roche Posay has been a brand recommended to me by dermatologists, and their products are amazing quality for the price. This cleanser is effective but gentle on my sensitive skin, helping my face retain moisture while delivering the benefits of Prebiotic Thermal Water, Ceramide-3 and Niacinamide (my fave skin care ingredient right now!).
3. Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patches ($12.99)
#1 Best Seller in Pore Cleansing Strips
Despite my well-curated skin care routine, sometimes a zit emerges that needs attention ASAP! These pimple patches help reduce the appearance of acne overnight, absorbing the gunk under the skin to shrink them noticeably by morning.
4. Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara ($4.99)
#1 Best Seller in Mascara
The Lash Princess mascara is a drugstore best seller year after year due to its dramatic effect and $5 price tag. It gives incredible volume and length, and is cruelty-free!
5. Tinkle Eyebrow Razors ($5.45 for two 3-packs)
#1 Best Seller in Women’s Disposable Razors
When it comes to facial razors, you’re overpaying if you buy anything else besides Tinkles. They’re single blade razors at the perfect size for dermaplaning, removing peach fuzz or cleaning up stray brow hairs.
6. Wet Brush ($7-$15)
#1 Best Seller in Hair Brushes
Whether you have thick stubborn hair, or fine hair that tangles easily, the Wet Brush will be the best ~$10 you ever spent. This helped mend my relationship with my hair, gliding through and detangling without breaking and pulling. Even my hairstylist uses these!
7. NYX Butter Gloss ($5)
#1 Best Seller in Lip Gloss
These have been a drugstore gem for over a decade for good reason: the cushy-yet-non-sticky texture, the color range, and how comfortable they feel on the lips. The Butter Glosses are decently pigmented and deliver a gorgeous glazed shine.
8. First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub ($20)
#1 Best Seller in Body Scrubs
If you need a body scrub that does more than just feel good, the KP Bump Eraser might be what you’re looking for. It uses both physical and chemical exfoliators to deliver the benefits of a chemical peel and microdermabrasion treatment in one product, removing dry bumps and dead skin.
9. Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer ($40)
#1 Best Seller in Hot-Air Hair Brushes
This was my go-to styler for years when I was wearing my hair straight more often. I literally threw out all of my other blow dryers. It takes hair from damp to dry and styled in 20 minutes or less— even when my hair was long and thick! It’s essentially a blow dryer shaped like a round brush and extremely easy to maneuver.
10. Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector ($30)
#1 Best Seller in Hair Treatment Masks
I absolutely obliterated my hair back when I was bleaching it in order to use fun colors. My ends, freshly cut, felt like straw and my natural curl pattern fell dramatically. Olaplex came to the rescue, and in just one use I could see and feel a huge difference. While I don’t bleach anymore, any time I feel like my hair needs extra TLC, or I’m noticing breakage, I’ll do an Olaplex treatment with great results.
I bought the Revlon hair dryer brush thing a few months ago after having it on my wishlist for at least a year. I kept going back and forth trying to decide if it would be worth it, since I don’t usually do much to my hair. It took a couple tries to get myself into the hype, but now I can’t *not* use it! I love how sleek and shiny it makes my hair. It’s like a blow dryer and flat iron all in one. I love it!!
Gonna look into the KP Body Scrub, I’ve never found anything that works for that. Thanks for the rec (as always!)!!
