Grocery Store Clothes Haul: dip by Kroger Fall Fashion
Sponsored by Kroger. All opinions my own.
Over the past few months, I’ve been revamping my wardrobe more than ever. I’m really looking for clothes that look great, feel great, and that will get a lot of mileage in my closet. But I’m still all about a good deal, so when the new dip clothing line popped up at my local Smith’s Marketplace (what Kroger is called in my area), I was super curious.
dip is a new lifestyle brand that Kroger just launched with styles for men, women, kids and babies. Behind the brand is designer Joe Mimran— who was behind Joe Fresh and Club Monaco— and he’s bringing both trendy styles and classic staples to the new line. The majority of what you’ll find from dip is $19 or under, and the other products are still a great deal. So, I jumped at the opportunity to grab a few fall and winter wardrobe additions from dip on a budget.
First off, we need to talk about this bomber jacket. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. As soon as I saw the price tag, it was a done deal. $29 for a really sturdy, thick and stretchy jacket?? I was blown away! I love the boxy blazer-like look of this jacket, and of course the burgundy shade is perfect for fall. It’s so comfortable and is definitely going to be a daily wear during the season.
Underneath, I’m wearing a long sleeve turtleneck that is lightweight and so soft. I like the relaxed fit, and the fact that the material is on the thinner side. It was only $14, which is crazy, and I’m definitely picking up a couple more in different colors. This makes it perfect for layering, since you won’t get overheated and the sleeves don’t bunch up when you put a jacket on over them. It’s a simple yet classic must-have that is super versatile in chilly weather.
My second favorite piece just after the jacket is this knitted sweater dress— $32, ya’ll! What I love about this dress is that it’s a great thickness to stay cozy without feeling heavy. The sleeves aren’t chunky so again, you can easily slide a jacket on over this, and the length is actually very generous! You can totally wear this dress on its own, or wear tights underneath for more coverage. I think sweater dresses are such easy and comfy outfits for fall and winter that can be casual paired with sneakers, or a little dressed up with a belt around the waist and boots.
I picked up a few more tops to add to my fall OOTD options, one being this blue plaid top. It’s a sheer material, though it still feels strong, and I really like the V-Neck style which makes it a little more feminine than a typical flannel plaid. Again, super lightweight and great for layering with jackets, scarves and cardigans, which is what I love to do this season to amp up my looks. It looks great with jeans or leggings and boots, and I like that the pattern isn’t super busy so it will mix and match easily. Most of the styles from dip fit me in Medium, but this one I sized down to a small to make it a little less loose-fitting.
I picked up two more pieces that you can check out in my haul video— you can watch it at the top of this page or on YouTube.
Overall, I was actually pretty impressed with the Kroger dip clothing line. The prices are a good deal for the quality you’re getting, and it’s just so convenient to have these fashion options that make Kroger even more of a one-stop-shop now. I’m excited to see what’s next from dip as the seasons progress.
I haven’t seen clothes at my Kroger but if I do see them I’ll have to look into that blue top because it looks soooo comfy!
I’m gonna need my Kroger to get in on this because I totally need that dress. SO cute!
I love the sweater dress. The burgundy jacket is really cute, too.
That berry hued jacket is adorable!
I don’t have this store but they sell decent clothing!
The jacket seems like such a good universal piece!
I like the blue plaid shirt the most. V-necks are the only way to go! 🙂
The sweater dress may be more my style, but you are rocking that jacket! I love it, and the price points are fantastic!
Love that blouse and the dress looks so, so comfy!
The bomber jacket and the last flower black blouse in your video are my favorite. I’m heading to Vegas in 6 weeks and definitely want to check out this store!
Those outfits look super comfy!
I like the clothes you picked. They fit well on you.
I wonder if this is coming to other states. It’s so interesting to have clothes at a Kroger store. The jacket and blue plaid shirt would be things I’d want to wear too.
Those are super-cure outfits! You look great in all of them!
I love the blue plaid shirt with the adjustable sleeves. How novel!
It’s a very comfortable shirt!
