Contour sticks are an easy way to sculpt the face with precision, but many are intimidated by the cream consistency and strong shades.
Tap through for a quick tutorial and the products I love using for an effortless contour stick application!
This drugstore contour stick is only $3.99 and very easy to apply. It's a great way to see if cream contour is for you without breaking the bank!

A soft, dense brush for blending. It shouldn't be too flexible or loose-- my favorite is the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

Apply the contour stick directly to the face where you want to sculpt: typically this is under the cheekbones, under the jaw/jowls, and at the hairline.
Start blending! The best method to blend out a contour stick is to tap and push the product into the skin, then slightly swipe upward to spread the color.
Repeat this method at the forehead, but at the jawline, swipe along your jawline and down toward your neck.
The end result is a very smooth and natural looking contour that sculpts the face.
