Implementing these 5 skin care tips made the biggest difference in helping clear my skin.

Makeup wipes leave a lot of residue behind. Once I switched to cleansing balm to remove makeup, I got a much more effective cleanse.

Remember: double cleansing is the most effective way to wash your face if you're wearing makeup. This entails using a makeup remover (cleansing balm) and following up with a face wash.

Hormones found in milk can trigger breakouts most noticeably around the jawline, chin and cheeks. Cutting out dairy for 30 days cleared about 85% of my cystic acne.

Using serums that targeted my acne, clogged pores, and hyperpigmentation made my breakouts clear up more quickly, and kept new ones away (or minimal).

When a product is labelled  non-comedogenic, that means it doesn't contain ingredients that will clog pores, which can lead to acne.

You've heard it before, and I'm telling you it's true: when you stay hydrated, your skin thanks you.

I use a half gallon water bottle to help me crush my hydration (and skin) goals. I haven't had any whiteheads since staying consistent with water intake.
