Prior to starting college, I would constantly splurge on high-end beauty products at Sephora. As I started to put an emphasis on saving, I found a new favorite corner of the store. The Sephora Collection is the makeup Mecca’s in-house brand that has surprisingly high quality makeup, tools and accessories at a more affordable cost.
These 6 products from The Sephora Collection are tried and true favorites of mine that give the store’s other brands a run for their money!
1. Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover ($7 – $14)
This remover melts off even the most stubborn makeup. Not only does it break down every last bit of makeup, but it leaves your lashes strengthened with its formula which includes flavonoids and olive wood extracts. It also includes the plant-derived ingredient, HydroSenn+ which moisturizes the skin around the eyes. This makeup remover is gentle enough for sensitive skin, and is truly tear-free.
2. Bronzer ($17)
The Sephora Collection bronzer is one I’ve repurchased time and time again. My favorite shade, Los Cabos, is a matte, neutral tan that works across a variety of skin tones. There are four shades in the line, two matte and two shimmer for all your contouring needs. They are pigmented and apply smoothly, blending effortlessly.
3. Long Lasting Eyeliner High Precision Brush ($12)
This was the first liquid eyeliner I tried as a teenager, so it has a special place in my heart! This true black, long lasting liner applies streak-free with a new fine, precise brush. Thick or thin, your liner will be on point and clean looking with this applicator. It dries shiny, which makes your eyes stand out.
4. Rouge Cream Lipstick ($12.50)
This lipstick is so pigmented and creamy. It feels moisturizing and provides full coverage with a sleek finish. My favorite shade is Decolette, a rosy mauve.
5. Colorful Blush ($15)
One of my favorite blushes of all time, the Sephora Collection Colorful Blush is both lightweight and packs a whole lot of color onto the cheeks. The blush comes in both matte and shimmery finishes. My favorite shade is Healthy Rose— a matte melon pink that gives me a natural, flushed look.
6. Ultra Shine Lip Gloss ($14)
If you’re a long-time reader… or not… you know that lip gloss is one of my least favorite makeup products. However, this one is free of all my normal complaints— it’s not sticky or slippery, noticeably adds color to the lips, and gives the lips a shiny full look. My favorite? Vibrant Coral, which provides a color that lives up to its name.
