I’ve been a hand cream/moisturizer junkie these days. This season has not been kind to my skin, at all. As if the skincare fairy heard my pleas for help, a tiny little package was waiting for me when I returned from my holiday travels: a STEAMCREAM.
STEAMCREAM is a lightweight moisturizer for your hands, face and body. The cream is made by fusing the ingredients together with steam, which holds them together in a loose formula that absorbs deep into your skin effortlessly. Ingredients include oatmeal, lavender essential oil, orange flower water, chamomile blue essential oil, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, neroli oil and rose absolute. The scent is a balanced, sweet and refreshing combination of all the natural smells of the ingredients.
These handmade, natural & vegan creams come in the most adorable and decorative variety of tins to fit anybody’s personality. There are more than 50 tin designs to choose from. My tin is in the design “Noir,” which is a classy black floral design.
The tin, while rather small looking, contains 2.5 oz of product. With its light formula, I feel like the amount of product is a bit unpractical to use regularly as a body lotion, but a good size for face and hand cream- perfect to throw into your purse or for traveling. I found that while a thinner consistency, this did a marvelous job pampering my dry winter skin- even my small eczema patches! For the face, it took me a while to figure out a good amount to apply. Too much would leave me feeling a bit too dewy, but not greasy by any means! A little goes a long way with this one.
STEAMCREAM is great for all skin types, as it’s not heavily perfumed or oily. Believe it or not, I’ve been reaching for this more than my L’Occitane Divine Cream these days! I guess you could say I’ve favored it as a face moisturizer over any other purpose. Since it doesn’t contain SPF, I have been using it at night- although I would love for them to release a STEAMCREAM with SPF in it for daytime use!
For $20, this cream is worth every penny. It really feels like a high-end beauty counter cream, for a fraction of the cost (that L’Occitane cream I had been using before this costs a whopping 100 dollars!). You can order a tin of STEAMCREAM online with FREE worldwide shipping on their website. New tin designs are being released constantly, and I might just start collecting them! Once I’m done with my cream I plan to keep the tin for storage/display because it’s so pretty. I’ve got my eye on the Oui tin for my next purchase!
Have you checked out STEAMCREAM? What tin designs do you like best?
