This month I received the October Beauty Box 5! The Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription box that delivers 5 beauty samples to your door for $12 a month. You can get discounted boxes when you buy a quarterly or yearly subscription up front. I think this is an extremely affordable way for people to try out new brands and products. Not to mention it’s exciting waiting for these little beauty surprises on your doorstep each month and then finally unboxing them!
Swissco Nail File – $1.50
So fun and sparkly… but not really what I’m looking for from a subscription box.
Bask Heavenly Silk Daily Skin Lotion – $2.50 or $19.98
This smells… well, heavenly! You can purchase the same small size that I got in my box for under $3, or get a huge 22oz bottle for $20.
Nubar Nail Lacquer in Faded Jeans – $8
Haven’t tried this on my nails yet but the color is very chic and the price point reasonable!
H20+ Aquafirm and Micro-Collagen Moisturizer – $50
This one is definitely the “high end” product of this month’s box. This will fight fine lines, which I don’t have yet. No harm in preventive care, though!
Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow in Bora Bora – $14
This eyeshadow is so gorgeous! It’s an electric teal with shimmer that can be applied dry (top swatch), or wet (bottom swatch)!
I liked these samples much more than the ones I received in my Birchbox last year, and the diversity of products is better than even my Wantable box (they gave me 4 lip products… like, thanks, but really?) The price is budget-friendly and you’re receiving double your money’s worth in product. You can also customize what kind of products you’d like in your box, so you’ll never be stuck with something you really dislike or don’t have use for.
Get your Beauty Box 5 subscription through their website. You can also browse their brands and products, buying them individually from their website.
Have you tried any monthly boxes, including the Beauty Box 5? What has been your favorite sample you’ve received from one?
I received the Beauty Box 5 for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
