Whaaaaaat, my first favorites post?!! Yes, yes, for the new year, I have decided to start making monthly favorites videos. I feel that I’m at a point in my blogging career where I’m trying enough new products regularly to compile these types of posts. Plus, they’re a little more convenient than “Empties” posts because I hate hoarding my trash…
Anyway, on to my favorite beauty products of the new year thus far!
- Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup
- Neutrogena On The Spot Acne Treatment
- NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Blue Rose [Review]
- Wet n Wild ColorIcon 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Tunnel Vision
- Nubar Cuticle Oil [$7.40 on Amazon]
- bareMinerals Eyeshadow in Pure Spice [$8 on Amazon]
Along with beauty favorites, I hope you don’t mind if I share a couple non-beauty favorites in these monthly posts as well!
I’ve been obsessed with wax melts and fragrance oils. They are so much more fragrant than any candle I own. My friend Jessica got me this gorgeous burner for Christmas, shaped like an elephant with an opening to hold a tea candle. I’ve been burning The Body Shop fragrance oils in Cranberry Joy and Vanilla Bliss, which were both on clearance for $2 after the holidays. My favorite product to fragrance my home with, though, has been the Roasted Espresso Drizzle Melts from Swan Creek Candle Company. They’re super cheap; only $6 for a whole package. I’ve been burning the same half of a section almost every day for the past month, and it’s still not finished! These fill a large room quickly with the most delicious caramel coffee scent.
I’ve finally jumped on the New Girl bandwagon. When the show first started, I couldn’t get into it to save my life. I tried watching the pilot 3 times and still had no intention of following the series. But after watching a few episodes mid-season with my mom, I got hooked and am now binging on Netflix. I’m reluctant to say Schmidt is my favorite, and I totally ship Jess & Nick (I’M ONLY STARTING SEASON TWO SO DON’T SPOIL ANYTHING FOR ME!).
What have you been enjoying most this month?
