My Drugstore Foundation & Contouring Routine for Fall/Winter

Throughout the year, the fundamentals of my foundation and contouring routine may stay consistent, but the products I use vary greatly. Moving into the chilly months, my skin loves liquid and cream products to help stay hydrated and glowing.

My Foundation & Contouring Routine for Fall/Winter

I thought I would share with you what Iā€™m currently using to do my face makeup for my most common every day look. As to be expected, almost all of the products are from the drugstore or at the drugstore price level.

While I am a fan of dramatic contouring, I typically keep it on the light side for work and class. Either way, my technique stays the same in application. Check out the video below where I walk you through my routine and share the products Iā€™m currently using.

    Products Mentioned:

To Prep: Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer

To Prime: Coastal Scents Beginnings Face Primer

To Conceal: L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer, Mary Kay Concealer

For Foundation: Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup

For Bronzer: City Color Cosmetics Be Matte Bronzer

To Highlight: Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Illuminator in Pink Light

For Blush: Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in Just Pinched Pink

To Set: Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

How does your face makeup routine change for fall?

    1. Woohoo! Cetaphil daily cleanser is my jam… so I love when I see the moisturizer in someones routine. šŸ˜€ So many great products, I always take lots of joy sending my drugstore addict friends to your blog… because I’ll know they will come away with great information šŸ™‚

    2. Nice routine! Mine is like uber simple, just BB cream and some concealer for the daytime. I only contour and use fuller coverage for special occasions.

    3. I’ve been using powder foundations, but I kinda miss my Cover FX BB Gel, which I think will last longer when I’m not sweating everything off in this FL heat. Um… has Wayne Goss seen your impression of him? lol! I love, love, love his tutorials, and he also taught me how to use a stipple brush. I’d totally been doing it wrong.
