December 2014 Boxycharm Review

The December 2014 Boxycharm was the first of my subscription boxes to reach my doorstep this month! December is typically my favorite month for monthly subscriptions because many of the services like to go out with a bang and deliver awesome products at the end of the year.

December 2014 Boxycharm Review | Slashed Beauty

Boxycharm was no exception to this rule, because this box rocked. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened it up and saw what was inside! Check out the unboxing video below for my first impressions:

    Product Breakdown:

    1. Coastal Scents Revealed Palette (Retail: $19.99)
What is life! I can’t believe they included the entire Revealed palette in this box. Ya’ll know that I’m obsessed with both Revealed palettes from Coastal Scents. I reviewed and swatched this one earlier this year in this post. Basically, it’s an amazing neutral eyeshadow palette that has 20 high quality shadows to create countless looks.

    2. Lina Lashes Luxury Mink Lashes (Retail: $30)
I’ve never worn luxury lashes before so I’m a little nervous about ruining these some way or another. They are so soft and have a naturally enhanced look about them. I don’t wear falsies on the daily, so these will be reserved for a super special event.

    3. Mistura Beauty Solutions Retractable Beauty Brush (Retail: $19.99)

Every girl’s gotta have at least one retractable brush in her arsenal! These are ideal for throwing in your purse or travel beauty bag. This is a super soft, multipurpose brush that will be great for on the go applications.

    4. Be a Bombshell Lip Gloss in Poker Face (Retail: $14)
This is a really nice red gloss that is perfect for any holiday occasion. It’s pigmented with a bit of translucency, and doesn’t feel too sticky which is nice. As time goes on, my Be a Bombshell collection grows since they tend to show up in every beauty subscription box!

    5. Eva NYC Hair Spray ($7)
This is a generous travel sized hair spray that will help lock in all my seasonal updos. What I really like, though, is the anti-humidity part because my hair + humidity = disaster!

What can I say? Boxycharm outdid themselves for the last box of the year. I haven’t been disappointed once with the contents of these boxes, and I’m very excited to see what 2015 brings. Check them out on their website, this would make a great gift for someone special.
