Crash My Stash: Spotlight on Coral

    coralprods2

Coral will always be a go-to color of mine during summer. There’s something about the shade that puts me in a bright mood. Some lean orange, some lean pink, and while it can be worn both brightly and softly, coral will always be perfect for sunny days and sizzling nights.

In my own collection, I’ve got five coral favorites that are in my current summer beauty rotation. Check em out:

    1. Sephora Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Vibrant Coral

This smooth, non-tacky lip gloss applies with translucency. It can be worn on top of a lipstick to give the color an oomph, or on its own for a nice bright tint.

    2. Jordana Lipstick in Apricot Glaze
I reviewed and swatched this lipstick collection here, and this shade was one of my favorites in the bunch. The creamy formula is comfortable to wear and the color payoff lasts for hours.

    3. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Lacquer in Provoke
This is one of my favorite drugstore nail polish lines, and Provoke is so beachy and fun! The shade leans peach creamsicle, but definitely fits in with the coral family. It dries with a cream finish and high shine.

    4. Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Mandarin
You may have heard me gushing over these shadows last week in my review. This is the only orangey shade in the entire collection, and is one of the satin mattes. It applies very smoothly with long lasting color.

    5. Avon Blush Bronzer Duo in Peach Glow
The blush in this duo is a bright coral that will compliment your sun-kissed glow… or the one you give yourself with the bronzer. Both shades are matte and blend easily onto the skin. I just realized that this was limited edition for Summer 2013, but it can still be found by independent sellers online.

What’s your favorite go-to summer color?

    1. I really like this color, too. I tend to shy away from it – I’m worried I’ll look too orange, or something!
