Yesterday, I turned 25! Officially a quarter of a century old… and now I can rent a car without an extra fee, yippee!
It was my first birthday celebrating in Vegas. I got together with my new friends and brought them to Escapeability, an escape room experience here in town. I absolutely loved escape games in Los Angeles and did them often, so I wanted to bring the tradition to my new town. We had a team of nine tackling their Casino Takeover room, which can actually be played in two teams, but we needed all the brainpower we could get! There were some really tough puzzles and I proudly contributed about four solutions. It was a multi-room game and we made it out with 5 minutes to spare, using all of our four clues. It was definitely the hardest room I’ve ever done, but we had some smart cookies on our team. I want to go back ASAP to try out their other rooms that are highly rated.
If you’re in the area, this is an awesome place to spend a birthday off-strip! Escape rooms are such a great activity for groups of friends who don’t all necessarily know each other. By the end of the game, everyone had bonded and was having a good time. Thanks for hosting us, Escapeability! After the game, we headed out to a bar for drinks and bites.
Because we weren’t doing anything fancy, I wanted to keep my makeup casual but still channel my inner birthday girl glam. I focused on a super glowy complexion and rosy eyes. Using the Pisces shades from the BH Cosmetics Zodiac Palette, I whipped up this soft glam look that I’m loving for spring.

I’ve been wearing my hair straight and sleek lately, embracing its long and flowy length, with the ghd Platinum Nocturne Styler. It’s my second straightener from the brand, but immediately my new favorite. The curved edges let you use it for a bunch of different styles, like adding curls and waves. It’s super lightweight, and my hair looks so smooth and healthy after using it. I also get way less breakage with this styler than other heat tools. It’s an investment, but I’ve never been afraid to spend a little extra money on hair tools that work and last. However, it is 40% off right now– so check it out if you’re interested!
